Japan - Day 5 - Kanazawa

Travel day! We headed West on the trains today to the western coast of Japan. On our way to Kanazawa (where there was just a 6.3 earthquake two days ago!!). A good travel day because a steady rain was falling all day long. Again, we all had lots of fun shopping for different things at the train stations today.

In Kanazawa, there is a high ranking Samurai’s house that we were able to tour. It is beautiful and gave us a sense of what a house would be like for someone who is well established in the Japanese society.
